ISLE is my visual poetry about self-imposed solitude, which I experienced while cycling alone around Iceland on the 1st of May, when conditions are still very harsh. Although it was meant to be a bikepacking trip where you consider every gram you carry with you, I took with me a medium format film camera almost 2 kilos heavy with the most expensive film I have ever used – Kodak Aerochrome Infrared film.
